Atkin's governance is accomplished through a City Counci, consisting of 5 council members, with a Mayor. The council is elected every two years in an election held in November, with all council seats open, and voters instructed to vote for five candidates.

Brian Cruise

Council member Brian Cruise did not run for re-election this year. Thank you Brian for your years of public service to the Atkins community!

Council member Dave Duball was not returned to his position on the Council in the November 2011 elections. Thank you Dave for your years of public service to the Atkins community, too...and thank you for the service provided as you fulfilled your internship in water management with the City this past summer!
