Welcome to Atkins Public Library!

The Atkins Public Library has been serving the Atkins community and surrounding area since 1975. Missed by the national effort of the Carnegie Foundation to build libraries in many small communities, Atkins finally achieved a library through local efforts and planning, first locating the library in the basement of the Atkins Telephone Company. Today, the library occupies all of the former Atkins Telephone building. Soon...the community will have a new building that belongs to the community of Atkins, and it will house both a larger and better Library and similarly, larger, better City Hall.

We're rebuilding cityofatkins.com!

We're rebuilding the Rec Department first, but the rest will quickly follow!

We're putting the site back up to help folks find a neighborhood meeting they can attend, and to assist you to give the Recreation & Wellness Committee your feedback.
If you have something you want included on the community's website, please let us know!
